About Ryan

This is me, Ryan, YOUR photographer. I didn’t take this photo – my buddy Paul Dennison did. We spend our free nights playing outside in the dark with our cameras. No – not outside your window. Sheesh. But I do love photography that much.

So what else do I love besides photography? Tech gear, gadgets, live music, The Discovery Channel (Whale Wars!), I  consume all books by Edward Abbey, Clive Cussler, Tom Clancey, Tim Dorsey and more.

If you ever find the need to feed me, pizza works just fine thank you. I also LOVE Cafe Rio, Costa Vida, Biaggi’s, and really any place that means I’m not cleaning the dishes.

I’m married to an amazing woman who continues to inspire and encourage me.  She’s a high school history teacher and debate coach. Yes, she can “win” any argument she chooses to “discuss with me.”  In all seriousness, I consider what I do to be the greatest job on earth.

Formally – I began studying photography with my first Pentax ME Super SLR when I was 10 years old.  I was the kid hanging out in the dark room in high school, and again in college – my roomate and I even had a darkroom in our closet. With no ventilation. Hmm.  I also use professional full-frame digital Canon equipment and have a great studio for formal and creative portraits located in Lindon, UT.
